NWSEO asks Eligible Members to participate in the 2012 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey
(May 7, 2012) NWSEO is asking members to take part in the 2012 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) administered by the Office of Personnel Management. The survey is open to Department of Commerce employees during the month of May. The voluntary web survey measures employees' feelings and attitudes in the following areas: Talent, Leadership and Knowledge Management, Performance Culture, and Job Satisfaction. The goal is to provide agencies with information to build on strengths and make improvements in challenged areas.
The 2012 FEVS will consist of full-time permanent and part-time permanent employees on-board as of October 31, 2011. Eligible employees will receive an individual email message from OPM with information on how to personally access the survey.

Let Your Voice Be Heard!
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) will administer the 2012 Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) to Federal employees during May and June 2012. The survey will be open to Commerce employees for six weeks beginning sometime during the week of April 16, 2012.
The purpose of this survey is to measure employees' feelings and attitudes in topic areas such as Talent, Leadership and Knowledge Management, Performance Culture, and Job Satisfaction. The ultimate goal of the survey is to provide agencies with information to build off of strengths and improve challenge areas. The FEVS is a web survey, and is voluntary. Employees will receive an e-mail invitation. Employees who have not completed the survey will also receive weekly e-mail reminders.
This year's survey will consist of Full-time permanent and part-time permanent employees on-board as of October 31, 2011. Those employees that are eligible will receive individual email messages from OPM with information on how to personally access the survey.
Results reported to the agency will not allow the identification of individual responses in any way, and no identifying information will be used to match individual responses to employees or personnel folders. In no way will your responses be used against any employee, and all information will be treated confidentially. Any data that could be used to identify specific individuals within a group will not be reported.
